Here's a nuclear explosion effect on a procedurally generated voxel island.
This effect was made for the Real Time VFX Challenge #45.
The theme was "Cubes". The goal was to create an effect with cubes particles only. I've inspired myself on Lego builder's journey, Minecraft and snow globes. The whole effect was made with Niagara on Unreal Engine 4 and sequenced with blueprint.
